Youth Connect: Berlin
Secretary of State John Kerry will convene with German young people his first "Youth Connect" event, a forum to hear thoughts and answer questions about global affairs.
The event, to be held on
Tuesday, February 26 at 10:30 a.m. Berlin time (GMT+1, EST+6),
will be moderated by television host
Cherno Jobatey
and streamed in partnership with
and
U.S. Embassy Berlin.
“Youth Connect: Berlin” will be the first of a series of events US-Secretary Kerry plans during his tenure to connect with the next generation of leaders and innovators around the world.
This event will focus on the importance of the U.S.-European relationship in addressing global challenges; U.S.-Germany bilateral relations; increasing trade and economic opportunities between Europe and the United States; and the use of technology in connecting individuals and causes.
